Curious approach. A growing percentage of electricity generation is renewable. In some states, like mine, it is in excess of 40%. Whereas burning gas in cars is 100% non-renewable. I don't think you should blame the EV for the fact that some states won't go renewable.

Also Lithium-Ion is a non-argument about a year ago when EVs switch to alternatives that use more easily-obtainable resources.

EVs are not the end-game, they're a push in the right direction. Public transit is in the end-game in terms of transportation.
