I have a depressing feeling that once the war is over (and Ukraine has been devastated), those companies will simply reopen their offices in Russia and continue as normal. These corporations don't have hearts or consciences, they just want the PR boost (or rather avoid the PR disaster should they continue trading in Russia.)

That said, I'll take the economic effect it is having and be grateful.
