YouTube usership is growing year on year, and YouTube generated $28.8 billion revenue in 2021, a 46% increase year-on-year. But that kind of proves your point. I know a lot of creators agree with you about how corporate it has become, how easy it is to get demonetized. There are some topics (like politics) you just can't get monetized for. Shame. But I guess as long as you're cooking recipes or unboxing tech, you're good on YouTube.
